Well, only 55 days and we’ll have a baby boy sitting in our hands. Seems like most free time we have we are preparing for the baby. It’s baby, baby and more baby all the time. Pretty exciting times. We have completed most of the nursery (pictures to come) and are starting to have some of the baby showers. Things are starting to fall in place.
The anticipation of this baby is pretty awesome. We have prayed, prepared, and prayed and still don’t feel ready. I guess in life you are never fully ready for things like this. But one thing we are is committed to raising this child to be a man of God. Things are going great for Manda. She is feeling healthy and strong. I married a strong little woman! She is a FINE looking pregnant woman. She only has about 4 weeks of teaching left (she’s counting the days) and then it’s get ready, get ready, get ready for the baby. Thank you for all your prayers, keep them coming.
I’ll post some pictures of Manda in our next post. The belly is looking good. I am thankful that her health has been great and that she is able to stay involved at church. The timing of this baby will be interesting. Manda is due on March 19, which is very close to Easter. Our church is about to go on TV and we’re starting a new campus on Easter Sunday, which is one of our biggest Sundays of the year. We are having a blast seeing all that God is doing at our church and in the middle of all of it, we’re bringing a baby boy into the picture. Oh yeah, SPICY!

-Great health for Manda and the baby
-That Manda would be able to finish strong and leave her class in good hands
-That Manda would have a great delivery
-For us to have strength in this season and a lot of wisdom

Well, were off to a new year. The count down is on for us to have our baby. Due date is March 19th, only 70 days until our lives are changed FOREVER. It is a little crazy preparing for that day. It is mostly because of the unknown of what to really expect. It is so different for everyone who has a baby. The adjustments are similar, but how we all adjust is totally different. Manda had a dream the other night in which we brought the baby (still nameless in case you were wondering) home and everything was same as it is now in the baby room. That would be crazy, because all we have is a crib, dresser, and some clothes. No diapers, more clothes, rocking chair, monitor, ……. oh the list goes on. Thank God it was only a dream. We have not had any baby showers yet, so hopefully we’ll get some stuff. This baby stuff gets pricey. But as with anything else, God will provide. One thing that babies teach you is greater dependence on GOD.So much has happened since our last blog entry……….we went home for the Holidays, school started back up for Manda, our Church is in full swing to start some great stuff this year, and of course LSU won the national title.
